dc.description NRE Science Week 2016, CSIR, Pretoria en_US
dc.description.abstract With the effects of climate change, harmful algal blooms (HABs) have become a global concern, with serious implications in water scarce countries such as South Africa. There is a specific lack of information in the African continent regarding harmful algal blooms and their impacts in over 30 countries. Biological control is a method of introducing natural enemies to control an organism and has been more successful using microorganisms. en_US
