dc.description Third International Conference on Optical Angular Momentum, City College of New York, New York City, USA, 6 August 2015 en_US
dc.description.abstract The evolution of the quantum states of photons propagating through turbulence can be investigated with the infinitesimal propagation equation (IPE). However, when it is expressed directly in terms of an orbital angular momentum (OAM) basis, such as the Laguerre Gaussian modes, the IPE suffers from a serious Truncation problem. The authors will demonstrate that the IPE can be solved without truncations, by first expressing. It in terms of the continuous momentum basis. As an example, they will show how the entanglement decays for specific OAM entangled input states. en_US
