dc.description 4th CSIR Biennial Conference: Real problems relevant solutions, CSIR, Pretoria, 9-10 October 2012 en_US
dc.description.abstract Droplet-based microfluidics has, in recent years, received increased attention as an important tool for performing numerous methods in modern day chemistry and biology, such as synthesis of hydrogel microparticles. The droplet-based microfluidic method discussed here offers a simple, flexible and robust method for generating emulsions of polymer solutions, which can be cross-linked to form hydrogels and other bio-microparticles. en_US
