The Gordon’s Bay region occupies the North western corner of false Bay, a large rectangular bay, bounded on the west by the Cape Peninsula ending at Cape Point, on the east by the precipitous slope of the Steenbras Mountains ending at the Cape Hangklip, and the north by the sandy beaches of the isthmus of the Cape Peninsula.
