The author is indebted to Dr. A.D Harrison of the Department of Zoology, University of Rhodesia and Nyasaland, Salibury, for sending him some algal material collected on the 25th of April 1962, in a granophyre rock pool high above the Lundi River at a place called Fishans Kraal, near the junction of the Lundi and Sabi River in the Southern Rhodesia.
