CSIR ScienceScope: S&T for global impact

Abstract

'S&T for global impact', the theme of this ScienceScope, features a selection of multidisciplinary projects with collaborators outside South Africa's borders from as near-by as Namibia to as far away as Russia and the Caribbean. CSIR's work supports the New Partnership for Africa's Development (NEPAD), with the aim of developing state of Africa from science, technology to health field. As a results, the continent is increasingly recognised as a contributor to global knowledge and expertise especially as far as scientific endeavour is concerned
